ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Joe Gugelman recently caught up with former WEC featherweight champion and current UFC bantamweight “The California Kid” Urijah Faber at THQ’s UFC Undisputed 3 pre-launch party in Las Vegas.

Faber talked about the Team Alpha Male podcast (TAM Radio) and a new Sirius Satellite Radio show he is working on. He also discussed his foot-race challenge to Matt Mitrione and his recent trip to El Salvador to help build a school for kids (www.surfforlife.org).

It is common knowledge Faber and UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz have a long-standing feud. Faber commented on the status of where that relationship stands and said, “I think we both know we’re going to fight each other again, and I think we both know I’m going to beat him.”

Before Faber gets another shot at the champ though, he has to deal with former WEC bantamweight champion Brian Bowles at UFC 139 on Nov. 19 in San Jose. Faber shared his thoughts on Bowles, how the two match-up, their similarities and where he feels he has the edge. Bowles actually spent some time training with Faber and his team back in 2008 and Faber feels that experience will factor in.
