Officials from Tachi Palace Fights have confirmed that David Loiseau will defend his middleweight title against Giva Sanatana at TPF 10 “Let the Chips Fall.” The card takes place Aug. 10 at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif.

Loiseau won the title by defeating Leopoldo Serao at TPF 8. The doctor stopped the bout in the fifth round after “The Crow” opened a cut with his notoriously sharp elbows.

A long-time friend and training partner of Georges St. Pierre, Loiseau challenged Rich Franklin for the UFC middleweight title at UFC 58 in 2006. After what is considered some of the most brutal five rounds in UFC title history, Franklin took home the decision. Loiseau has defeated Evan Tanner, Shawn Tompkins and Solomon Hutcherson.

Santana is known as “The Arm Collector” since he has won 12 bouts with armbars. In his last fight, he defeated Anthony Ruiz with his signature hold to extend his winning streak to four fights. He has also fought for Elite XC and M-1 Challenge.
