This stellar fight card will define rankings, championships and set up potential Title fights.
Topping the fight card is a Championship Super Heavyweight showdown featuring currently undefeated Champion Neil Cooke, who has holds a perfect 6-0 record, winning all fights in the 1st round, 3 by TKO and 3 by submission.
This well rounded Champion looks to keep his unbeaten streak alive but will face heavy opposition in 6″2″, Esteves “Quit Riot ” Jones, of Sierra Vista, Arizona who is 5-1 with 4 victories by KO.
Championship action continues in the 135lbs Fly Weight class as recently crowned Champion, Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera, of Brooklyn, NY, with a record of 7-1, seeks his 1st title defense after dethroning long time Champion, Abel Cullum.
He will face off against Jared Papazian, 11-5-1 of Glendale, CA, who has won his last 5 fights, 3 by KO and 2 judges decisions, and has remained undefeated since dropping down to the 135lbs division.
Rivera stated he looks forward to defending his title and has increased his training from 2 time a day to 3 times a day in preparation for this bout.
Papazian, who watched Rivera’s recent victory over Abel Cullum, said he noticed that Rivera has transitioned from being a fighter who relied on his
wrestling to a more well rounded fighter.
He still feels he will be able to overcome the champ and finish him on the ground and he has also increased his cardio training as this will be the first time he fights five, 5 minute rounds.
In a bout that will determine the # 1 ranking at 185lbs middle weight division, Johnathan Brandon 5-1 of John Munoz’s school will face 10-4 Kenny Mccorkell.
The winner of this bout will fight for the Middle weight title on April 21st. The card will also feature Paul Arras, Demetrice Woods, Chris Culley, Joe Williams, Gabe Lopez, Chris Armbrister, and Andrew Pena.
