The fighters had already agreed to a rematch, and now the UFC has set up the fight. Matt Wiman and Mac Danzig will meet at UFC Fight Night 22. The card will take place on Sept. 15 in Texas.

Heavy.com reported the rematch.

Danzig and Wiman first met on the undercard of UFC 115. The fight went to the ground, and Wiman locked in a guillotine choke. Referee Yves Lavigne stepped in and stopped the fight. However, Danzig did not tap or go unconscious.

Wiman made his UFC debut back at UFC 60. On that night, Spencer Fisher stopped him with a flying knee in an extremely excited affair. After a stint on the fifth season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” he returned and put together four straight victories. Wiman holds victories over Shane Nelson, Michihiro Omigawa and Thiago Tavares.

Danzig was the favorite going into the sixth season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” He dominated the field and took home the tournament title. However, since the show he has had an up and down career. His record in the UFC currently stands at 3-4 with wins over Tom Speer, Mark Bocek and Justin Buchholz.

The UFC has not officially announced UFC Fight Night 22. However, it has been reported by various media outlets. Headlining the Texas card will be a middleweight contest between Alan Belcher and Demian Maia.
