Bellator MMA is bringing The Toughest Tournament In Sports back to Southern California as Pechanga Resort & Casino hosts the Welterweight Tournament Semifinals Friday, April 11th live on Spike TV. The night will also feature a light heavyweight showdown between Vladimir Matyushenko and Joey Beltran.
Bellator 99 took place Friday night at Temecula, California’s Pechanga Resort. The event featured the opening rounds of the Season 9 Bellator Featherweight Tournament with Patricio Pitbull, Fabricio Guerreiro, Justin Wilcox and Joe Taimanglo moving on to the semifinal rounds. Patricio Pitbull will face Fabricio Guerreiro and Justin Wilcox will fight Taimanglo in the semifinals.

It was announced today that Vladimir Matyushenko (26-6) has stepped in for an injured Roger Hollett (13-3), and will now face the returning Matt Hamill (10-4) in a light-heavyweight battle at UFC 152. The event will take place on Sept. 22 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.
