Pandemonium VIII was an amazing card and I hope that all of you caught it live on www.prommanow.com or via replay. It was an amazing show highlighted by a brutal and unexpected KO of Trace Gray by John Hyde, a great finish by John Robles, and the Fight of the Year candidate between Kana Hyatt and Steve Swanson for the MEZ Sports Pandemonium Fights Flyweight title.
The headlines these days are covered with stories about Lance Armstrong’s massive cover up over his extensive performance–enhancing drugs (“PED”) use. MMA has an interesting dilemma when it comes to PEDs. It has had some very high profile fighters, including Chael Sonnen, Dan Henderson, Nate Marquardt and Quinton Jackson, admit to a legal form of steroid use, Testosterone Replacement Therapy (“TRT”).
Pandemonium Fight Series promoter Criag Zimmerman explains why he feels the Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen match-up is a great move by UFC President Dana White.
My last show was in late August and my next one won’t be until January and people ask me what I do in between shows and before I start booking the next show.
I want to take this time to introduce myself and my promotion to the ProMMAnow.com community. My name is Craig Zimmerman and I promote the MEZ Sports Pandemonium Fight Series in California.
