Will Fedor bring back the pastel sweater for Winter 2011 or is the Stary Oskol bougerois going darker for the cold months?
Behold, the glorious striped one

The Glorious Sweater of Absolute Victory reached mystical proportions at the height of Fedor Emelianeko‘s popularity. The Stary Oskol pro MMA veteran fought legendary battles in Pride FC and Strikeforce, and is the one fighter Dana White could never sign and it certainly must eat at his soul.

A glorious clash between Randy Couture and Fedor was the one that got away for White. And now once again Scott Coker plays the antagonist signing former UFC standouts like Phil Davis, Tito Ortiz, Matt Mitrione, Rory MacDonald and others — and now once again, Coker signs Fedor, and his company is nipping at the heels of the MMA giants.

Fate is such an interesting thing in this MMA universe where Marky Mark now owns the UFC, Conor McGregors exist, Fedor is back, and Ronda Rousey is apparently close to retiring into Motherhood. Oh and Miesha is gone. And Trump is President-Elect and has meetings with UFC owner Ari Emanuel.

Mitrione vs Fedor is going down

It was announced that Fedor will be fighting Matt Mitrione on Feb. 18 at Bellator 172 in San Jose, Calif. The former Pride champion, now 40, is currently on a five-fight winning streak, including a controversial decision over Fabio Maldonado in June.

After leaving the UFC earlier this year following a loss to Travis Browne, Mitrione has fought twice for Bellator, scoring knockout wins over both Oli Thompson and Carl Seumanutafa.
