SmackDown returns tonight from Birmingham, Ala., and features a six-man tag team match with The Miz and Gold and Stardust taking on Sheamus and The Usos. Seth Rollins will make an appearance, and we’re likely to see a confrontation with he and Dean Ambrose prior to their upcoming Hell in a Cell match. Big Show will be back, and that means he and Rusev will likely butt heads before their upcoming Hell in a Cell match. AJ Lee and Layla will clash. Nikki Bella will battle Naomi, and you can bet Brie and Alicia Fox will be somewhere close by.

Seth Rollins comes to the ring with his MITB briefcase in tow. “You sold out,” chants the crowd. “Honor doesn’t pay the bills,” Rollins said. He then tells the crowd they would sell out their mothers, their brothers, best friends and their souls to be anything like him. Rollins then continues to insult them by saying they could never be him, look as good as him or as be as successful as him.
He then has a message for Ambrose, saying he may walk into Hell in a Cell, but he’s not coming out. “Dean Ambrose, I sold you out. But at Hell in a Cell I’m gonna put you out,” Rollins states. Dolph Ziggler then comes out for their match after Rollins curb stomped him at RAW.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins
Rollins mouths off for a minute before Ziggler drop kicks him and the match is underway. Ziggler gives him a clothesline over the top rope right away, and then we got to break … Ziggler in trouble as we return from commercial. Suplex from Rollins, but Ziggler quickly kicks out. Rollins then tries to pin him again after introducing his head to the turnbuckle, but Ziggler quickly kicks out. How about a stomp to the groin area from Rollins. He then fishhooks Ziggler. Rollins with a few knees to the body. Ziggler throws him out the ring and Rollins hurts his knee. Ziggler rallies and comes off the top rope smashing Rollins face into the mat, but can’t pin him. … commercial break … Ziggler moves and Rollins flies into the turnbuckle. Ziggler then hits him with a clothesline, works him over with punches, then hits a neckbreaker, followed by a flying elbow drop. Rollins rolls out the ring and snaps Ziggler’s neck over the top rope. Now fighting each other up on the turnbuckles. Rollins picks Ziggler up high but Ziggler hits him with the DDT, but can’t get the pin. Some more back and forth before Rollins throws him into the turnbuckle then smashes him with a curb stomp. Then Rollins gets the pin.
RESULT: Seth Rollins curb stomps and pins Dolph Ziggler
Dean Ambrose comes out with contract in hand to confront Rollins. Rollins leaves the ring and Ambrose tells him what he’s going to do to him at Hell in a Cell. At this point Kane comes out and says he and Ambrose will go at it tonight in the main event.
AJ Lee vs. Layla
Paige is guest commentating once again. Alicia Fox is right there too. AJ working her over to start, then Layla turns it around and locks up a modified triangle choke but can’t finish. AJ moves as Layla comes off the top ropes. AJ then locks up the Black Widow and Layla taps out. Alicia runs in but gets countered by AJ. Paige now comes in and hits her with the Rampaige. She then holds up AJ’s Diva’s Title and her and Alicia skip around the ring.
RESULT: AJ Lee pins Layla
Sheamus/The Usos vs. Miz/Gold and Stardust
Miz and Sheamus start the match but Miz just rolls out the ring and tags Goldust. After trading shoulder smashes, Sheamus gives Goldust a toss to his back. He tags Starrdust. Sheamus tags Jey Uso, but he can’t get the pin and tags his brother and they both work Stardust over, but Jimmy can’t get the pin either. Miz is tagged in and works over Jimmy. Jimmy rallies and puts a big slam on Miz and a clothesline but no pin. Uso moves and Miz flies out the ring. Miz hits the Uso brother with a foot to face and he goes down. … commercial break … Goldust working over Jey Uso, lands a spinebuster but no pin. Stardust comes in now and also works over Jey and hits a clothesline off the ropes before tagging out. Goldust picks up where Stardust left off, but can’t get the pin. Jey rallies with a Samoan drop and they both tag out. Sheamus comes in and cleans house and slams Stardust hard. Miz treis to intervene but gets slung outside the ring. After some craziness with the Usos working over Gold and Stardust, Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick on Goldust and gets the pin.
RESULT: Sheamus pins Goldust

Big Show says he would like to talk to Mark Henry about his involvement in his bout with Rusev Monday night which led to Big Show losing by DQ. … Henry comes out and Big Show puts his arm around him. He tells Henry he needs some space and wants to pin Rusev at Hell in a Cell. Henry takes offense to Big Show saying he’s going to do something he himself couldn’t do. But Henry says man to man if you want me to get out your business, I will. Lana and Rusev come out. Lana says they are the blimps of the WWE. The crowd chants, “USA”. Rusev starts talking smack but Big Show lays the verbal SmackethDown on the Russian.
Nikki Bella vs. Naomi
Nikki working over Naomi as Brie looks on via monitor backstage. Naomi rallies with three straight dropkicks, then hits her with a Rear View off the ropes, but can’t get the pin. Nikki snaps her neck over the top rope, picks her up and gives her a backbreaker on her shoulders. Nikki then pins her. Brie looks impressed. Brie could become Nikki’s personal assistant if Nikki wins at Hell in a Cell.
RESULT: Nikki Bella pins Naomi
Dean Ambrose vs. Kane
#KaneVSAmbrose — Ambrose getting the better of Kane and clotheslines him over the top ropes. Kane comes back in running at Dean but he ducks and Kane flies over the ropes. He crawls back in and Ambrose working him over. Kane rallies and knocks him flat with a kick to the face. Kane tosses him out the ring and slams him back and forth into the barricade and ring, and then the steps. Kane slings him back in the ring and works him over some more. Ambrose quickly kicks out of the pin attempt. Rollins looks on from ringside. Kane throws him back outside the ring. Ambrose counters by smashing Kane’s head into the steps, then drop kicks him into the steps. Kane flies out the ring on him, throws him back in and climbs the turnbuckles. Drop kick off the top rope. Tries to pin him after hitting a Bulldog. Rollins intervenes and causes the DQ. Kane and Rollins team up on him. Rollins picks him up and throws him to the turnbuckles. Rollins puts a steel chair in the ring, then tries to curb stomp Ambrose on it but he moves. Ambrose gets the chair and works over Kane with it before he and Rollins escape. Ambrose is left in the ring acting like a madman.
RESULT: Dean Ambrose beats Kane by DQ
