UFC officials have announced that the promotion will return to Macau, China, on August 23. The event will be headlined by the middleweight bout between Cung Le and Michael Bisping. The c0-main event will feature a welterweight bout between Dong Hyun Kim and Hector Lombard.
The event will air on the UFC Fight Pass subscription service.
Le (9-2) last competed in November 2012, earning a highlight reel KO win over former champion Rich Franklin. That fight headlined the first ever UFC event in China. Bisping (24-6) last competed in April, losing a unanimous decision to Tim Kennedy.
Kim (19-2-1, 1NC) last competed in March and earned a highlight reel KO win over John Hathaway. Kim has now rattled off four consecutive wins, including back-to-back KO victories. Lombard (34-4-1, 1NC) last competed at UFC 171 and earned a dominate unanimous decision win over Jake Shields. Lombard has now won back-to-back fights since moving down to the welterweight division.
