This Friday, the Bellator Featherweight tournament final will take place in Ontario, Canada. Desmond Green and Daniel Weichel will both be looking to get a title shot with this win. There are also a number of feature fights on this card.
Marius Zaromskis vs Vaughn Anderson
Zaromskis lost his last bout to Brent Weedman via decision; While Vaughn Anderson was choked unconscious by War Machine. I personally think Vaughn is a little overmatched in this fight. I don’t see many ways he can overcome Zaromskis, even with his fading chin. Zaromskis is too experienced and has faced way better competition in his career.

Raphael Butler vs Nick Rossborough
Butler is an 8-0 prospect who recently defeated Josh Burns via TKO. Nick Rossborough is far more experienced than Butler but is coming off a loss via TKO. I’m going to have to go out on a limb with this one. I think the young streaking prospect picks up a win over the experienced vet.
Result: Raphael Butler wins via 1st rnd TKO
Chris Horodecki vs Marlon Sandro
Horodecki last defeated Frank Caraballo via unanimous decision; while Marlon Sandro fought to a draw with Yokiro Uchimura. Sandro has an excellent ground game, and he should look to use it on Horodecki. Horodecki is a fairly well rounded fighter, but I think Sandro edges him here.

Desmond Green vs Daniel Weichel
Green defeated Mike Richman and Will Martinez to get to the finals; while Daniel Weichel defeated Scott Cleve and Matt Bessette. Weichel likes to strike, but he excels at ground and pound. Green likes to be on top and is a very good wrestler. Weichel needs to avoid Green’s smothering top game and deliver heavy strikes on the feet. Green needs to do what he always does and take this fight to the ground. I don’t think Weichel will be able to overcome Green’s unique stand up and explosive takedowns.
Result: Desmond Green wins via unanimous decision
