ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Dan “The Wolfman” Theodore caught up with the “Lil Bulldog” Felice Herrig, who was in Irvine, Calif., watching her teammate Pat Curran successfully defend his featherweight title at Bellator 85.
Herrig, who recently made her return to Bellator with a decision win over Patricia Vidonic, talked about the evolution of her game from just a kickboxer to becoming a well-rounded fighter. She attributes that evolution largely to working with Team Curran MMA and training with fighters like Pat Curran and Carla Esparza.
Herrig shared her thoughts on why she thinks some of the MMA fans online criticize her for the way she markets herself. She also discussed the fact she makes her own outfits she fights in and already has plans for her next one. “Lil Bulldog” also gave some insight into her “animalistic” nature that takes over when she fights.
