KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Gary Thomas caught up with AXStv fight commentator Michael “The Voice” Schiavello prior to “XFC 20: High Octane” Friday night at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

The Aussie talked about the fights he was most looking forward to on the card, and being this was the XFC’s fourth trip to Tennessee this year, he revealed what he likes most about The Volunteer State.

“The Voice” named some of his favorite memories from his years covering mixed martial arts and described XFC lightweight contender Nick Newell as the most inspirational fighter in MMA due to all he has accomplished inside and outside the cage as a congenital amputee.
