The Ultimate Fighting Championship has sent out a press release saying there will be a special announcement from UFC President Dana White today regarding “UFC 151: Jones vs. Henderson” via media teleonference at 2 p.m. ET/11 p.m. PT.
The rumors started on Twitter late last night from Kenny Florian (@KennyFlorian)
“Hearing that we may have some disappointed @UFC fans soon due to some unfortunate circumstances for an upcoming card”
Rumors of a Dan Henderson injury emerged that sparked a wildfire of speculation on what happened and who would replace Hendo on the card. Henderson was scheduled to face UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones for the title on Sept. 1 in Las Vegas.
