Finishing up our series of UFC on FX 3 pre-fight interviews with each of the main card fighters is this one-on-one with UFC bantamweight Eddie Wineland (18-8-1), who will face Scott Jorgensen (13-5) this evening as part of the FX-televised card starting at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT).

ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Susan Cingari spoke with Wineland about his game plan for the bout and how he feels his style matches up with Jorgensen.

Wineland feels he is both stronger and faster than Jorgensen and will be able to stop his takedowns. Despite a strong wrestling background, Wineland said he is a fan-pleaser and always looks to keep the fight standing and go for the knockout.

Wineland also shared the story of his younger brother who at two years old was severely burned over 98% of his body and was pronounced clinically dead four times while in the helicopter, but ultimately survived. Today, Wineland’s brother is 18-years-old and has been an enormous inspiration for the fighter to persevere.
