Following UFC on Fuel TV 3 Tuesday night at The Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., UFC President Dana White announced the “Fight of the Night”, “Knockout of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” bonus winners, each being worth $40,000.

“The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung was the top earner of the night, bringing home both “Submission of the Night” and “Fight of the Night” honors, for a total of $80,000 in bonus money.

Jung and his opponent, Dustin Poirier, put on a memorable back and forth performance that displayed all facets of the mixed martial arts game. After 15+ minutes of high-paced action, “The Korean Zombie” stunned Poirier with an uppercut that helped set up a fight-ending D’arce choke that put Poirier to sleep in the fourth round and secured the submission bonus for the Zombie.

Although losing, Poirier has a consolation in bringing home an extra $40,000 for his part in the “Fight of the Night”.

“Knockout of the Night” went to Tom Lawlor for his first round knockout victory over veteran Jason MacDonald. It took Lawlor just 50 seconds to dispatch the Canadian, and it was a nice birthday present for the “Filthy” one, who turned 29-years-old on Tuesday.
