The Group of Eight (G8) is a forum for the governments of eight of the world’s largest economies. It is one of the single most powerful meetings held anywhere around the world. It’s made up of the movers and shakers in our world’s economy. Just like the G8, Asian MMA will be having a meeting of the minds that might just change the landscape of the industry forever.

It’s called the ONE Asia Summit and it will see the who’s who of the Asian MMA scene congregate for the first time ever to discuss the biggest issues that matter in our industry. The summit is set for the 1st and 2nd of June 2012. All the majors players in the ONE FC Network will be present for the summit, such as the URCC, ROAD FC, DREAM, Evolve MMA, Phuket Top Team, Muayfit, Juggernaut FC, thatmmashop and the list goes on and on. On top of that, ONE FC’s media partners (ESPN StarSports, MNC, etc) and sponsors (Sony, Schick, Energizer, etc) will be present as well.

This year has been huge for ONE FC and the ONE FC Network. With the announcement of it’s 10 year partnership with ESPN Star Sports, sponsorships from the biggest mainstream companies around and with ONE FC’s constantly growing popularity, one cannot deny that ONE Fighting Championship truly is the premier organization in Asia. We’ve also been told from a very reliable source that it’s pretty much confirmed that ESPN is now a share holder and has part ownership of ONE FC. How crazy is that?

No one can deny that ONE FC and the ONE FC Network is a Powerhouse in the world of MMA that cannot be stopped.

Here’s the official press release from ONE FC:
