Strikeforce has finalized the main card for “Fedor vs. Henderson” scheduled for July 30 at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

The event will air LIVE on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on West Coast) and feature a heavyweight main event between “The Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko (31-3, 1 NC) and Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson (27-8).

All eyes will be on Emelianenko who for the first time in his career is coming off back-to-back losses. Hendo has won his last two fights, and although is the current champ at 205 pounds, is moving up to heavyweight to face the man who was once considered the very best the sport had to offer.

In the co-main event, Strikeforce women’s 135-pound champ Marloes “Rumina” Coenen (19-4), of Holland’s Team Golden Glory, will put her title and submission expertise on the line against the wrestling prowess of Miesha “Takedown” Tate (11-2), who now trains with Urijah Faber‘s Team Alpha Male.

In middleweight action, the very heavy-handed “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler (18-7, 1 NC) will face off with the well-rounded and ever-improving Tim “The Hero” Kennedy (13-3).

At welterweight, British kickboxer Paul “Semtex” Daley (27-10-2) will take on undefeated two-time All-American University of Missouri wrestler Tyron “T-Wood” Woodley (8-0).

And rounding out the televised main card, also at welterweight, hard-hitting slugger Scott “Hands of Steel” Smith (17-8, 1 NC) returns to the Strikeforce cage to take on Team Quest karate expert Tarec “Sponge” Saffiedine (10-3) of Belgium.

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker commented on the line-up:

“Fedor versus Hendo is the super fight fans have been waiting for and we’re proud to have also stacked the rest of this card with exciting fights. Marloes has proven to be one of the best women’s mixed martial artists on the planet, but Miesha could be her toughest challenge yet. When you add knockout artists like Paul Daley, Robbie Lawler and Scott Smith, as well as rising stars such as Tyron Woodley, Tim Kennedy and Tarec Saffiedine, this is the type of card that will deliver some explosive fights.”

Tickets for “Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson” will be available at the Sears Centre Arena box office, online at searscentre.com, or by phone at 1-888-732-7784.
