KIEV, UKRAINE — On Saturday, June 4, the M-1 Ukraine European Battle took place at the National Circus Arena in Kiev, Ukraine, and featured a main event between Yasubey Enomoto and former M-1 Challenge middleweight champ Rafal Moks.
Unlike some of the MMA judging we have seen recently in the United States, Enomoto actually won a majority decision while fighting much of the fight off his back. Enomoto was able to control much of the action using rubber guard, and he stayed offensive by using strikes and looking for submissions (stay tuned for video).
In the co-main event, M-1 veteran Yuri Ivlev bounced back from back-to-back losses to earn a unanimous decision victory over former M-1 Challenge lightweight champ Artiom Damkovsky.
M-1 Ukraine’s International Club Grand Prix continued on this card as Club Aris won four out of five matches against their rivals, Club Belarus BK.
