Kevin Dunsmoor to replace John Dodson against Mamoru Yamaguchi at TPF 9

Meet top flyweight contender Mamoru Yamaguchi, an awesome fighter with an even more awesome hairdo.

Tachi Palace Events Coordinator Jeremy Luchau has confirmed that Mamoru Yamaguchi will now meet Kevin Dunsmoor at TPF 9. The card takes place on May 6 at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif.

Yamaguchi was originally scheduled to face Greg Jackson protege John Dodson. However, Dodson has now been pulled off the card for undisclosed reasons.

Dunsmoor owns a 10-3 record. One of his three-career defeats came against TPF flyweight Ian McCall. In his last fight, he scored a second-round knockout of Jesse Miramontes in March.

Former two-division Shooto world champion Yamaguchi has owned a spot in the flyweight top-ten for several years. He is the current King of the Cage 125-pound champion, and he holds victories over Yuki Shojo, Yasuhiro Urushitani and Baret Yoshida.
