Bellator Fighting Championships announced on Friday the Local Feature Fights for Bellator 32 as the organization heads back to the Kansas City Power & Light District on Oct. 14.
Headlining the local card will be Missouri native and Bellator season two veteran Eric “The Machine” Marriott (18-5) taking on Omaha’s Ryan Roberts (13-8). The two have fought twice before, each with one win a piece. Roberts scored a unanimous decision victory over Marriott in July, however, it was Marriott who won a unanimous decision exactly one year ago this month.
In the local card co-main event, Kansas City native and fan favorite Rudy “Bad News” Bears (11-6) makes his fourth appearance at the Power & Light District under the Bellator banner as he takes on Iowa’s Demi Deeds (15-8, 1 NC). Both fighters are coming off losses and will be looking to impress.
Also on the local card, Missouri native Danny Tims (9-3) makes his third Bellator appearance as he takes on undefeated bantamweight Jared Downing (4-0). Tims is 1-1 so far under the Bellator banner and is coming off a decision loss to Jose Vega at Bellator 26 in August. Downing submitted Chad Vandenberg via rear-naked choke at Bellator 22 back in June.
Kansas City’s Brian Davidson (5-3) takes on Topeka’s Shane Hutchinson (4-6) in a featherweight bout, and someone’s “0 will have to go” as Odessa’s Owen Evinger (5-0) takes on newcomer Nick Spohn (2-0).
