Tarec Saffiedine after defeating Nate Moore / Strikeforce

Shark Fights has finally completed their first pay-per-view card. Strikeforce prospect Tarec Saffiedine will meet Brock Larson. Shark Fights 13 takes place on Sept. 11 at the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas.

The fight will be a part of the main card, which will be broadcast on pay per view.

After dropping a split decision to Dong Sik Yoon at Dream 12, Saffiedine signed with Strikeforce. He picked up a pair of wins on their Challengers series against James Terry and Nate Moore. The Belgian trains with Team Quest and looks to be one of the rising stars in Strikeforce’s improving welterweight division.

Ever since 2005, Larson has been in and out of the UFC. In 2007, he faced off with Carlos Condit for the WEC welterweight title, but dropped the fight by submission. He holds victories over Mike Pyle, John Alessio and Keita Nakamura.

Headlining Shark Fights 13 is a light heavyweight fight. Strikeforce veteran Trevor Prangley will take on UFC veteran Keith Jardine. Also on the card Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou will take on Houston Alexander.
