PRO MMA (promma.info) was on hand at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, June 6, 2009 for “Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields.” From Phil Baroni and Joe Riggs settling their bad blood to Brett Rogers’ knock out of Andrei Arlovski to Jake Shields’ quick work of Robbie Lawler, the card was action-packed and the crowd was electric.
In the following photos you will see not only the fighters competing in the event but also some of the big names attending the fights. You will recognize such faces as Fedor Emelianenko and Josh Barnett who are scheduled to face each other in August. You will also recognize such faces as Tim Sylvia, Bobby Southworth, Tom Atencio, Ben Askren, and Mark Coleman to name just a few.
