PRO MMA (promma.info) recently reported that with Joe Lauzon facing knee surgery, he may be out nearly a full year from MMA competition. The prognosis was that the meniscus may need to be completely removed in addition to the ACL damage that would need to be repaired.

Joe Lauzon has launched his new website, and is blogging almost daily about his surgery and progress. In a recent post, Joe had reported the successful surgery and that the meniscus was repaired instead of being removed.

The doctor went on to tell Joe that he may be ready to go within 6 months instead of 12, and that he could begin rehabbing the knee immediately.
