Diego Sanchez’s first venture into the lightweight division may pit him against another TUF winner. Sanchez has verbally agreed to face TUF season 2 winner, Joe “Daddy” Stevenson at UFC 95.

Sanchez informed the public via myspace that he would be dropping down to 155 earlier this month. “The Nightmare” dropped two straight decisions to American Kickboxing Academy welterweights, Josh Koscheck and Jon Fitch back in 2007.

Stevenson’s most recent venture into the Octagon ended badly for the former title contender. Kenny Florian forced “Daddy” to tap out in the first round of their UFC 91 bout. Once at number one contender status, Stevenson has dropped two of his last three bouts.

The date for UFC 95 has been set for Febuary 21st at the O2 arena in London, England.
