Kenny Robertson

A new bout has been added to the UFC 157 card as Brock Jardine (9-2) faces Kenny Robertson (11-2) in a welterweight matchup. The event will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif, on Feb. 23.

UFC officials recently announced the new bout.

UFC 157 will feature a headline fight between newly crowned UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Liz Carmouche. The main card will air LIVE on PPV following the prelims on FX and Facebook.

Brock Jardine last fought at UFC on FX 4 in June, where he dropped a unanimous decision loss to Rick Story in his UFC debut. Prior to that he had been on a three fight winning streak, defeating notable fighters such as Boyko Ranchev, Kenny Ento and Blas Avena. Jardine will no doubt look to pick up his first UFC win with a big performance against Robertson.

Kenny Robertson was last in action at UFC on FUEL TV 4 in July, where he dropped a unanimous decision loss to Aaron Simpson. Prior to that he scored a first round KO victory over Lucio Linhares at “Fight Festival 31” in October 2011, but dropped a second round TKO loss to Mike Pierce at UFC 126 in February. Robertson has a chance to get himself back into the win column on Feb. 23.
