Roberto “Beto” Vargas

Show 130 starts off with a man that I don’t know if I’m more impressed by his beard or his win streak. Roberto “Beto” Vargas is not a stranger to winning, he’s on a six fight streak right now and looking to make it seven when he steps in the Bellator Cage Friday March 9th to take on Marlon Sandro in the Bellator Featherweight Tournament Finals. Since being released from the promotion after his only loss (Wilson Reis) Beto has gone on to win six straight. We will talk to him about the energy and momentum he has coming into this fight, his opponent, and what his future goals are with this tournament. You know I gotta bring up his wicked beard and much more. Follow Roberto Vargas on twitter @RobertoVargas45.

Shamar Bailey

Our second guest is one of the few fighters who have their own spot in the shop when they stop by and this man has put in enough time on the show to have his! Shamar Bailey is back with us this week. Shamar is stepping into the Bellator Cage on March 9th as well against Josh Shockley for a 165 lb match up. We got plenty to talk to Shamar about from the Danny Castillo fight, to his recent win, making his way into the Bellator Cage. You know we have to talk the match up against Shockley and where Shamar plans to take his career this year. If you didn’t know Shamar’s brother also fights and we will of course ask how he’s doing. Shamar is still fire fighting and I’m sure has a story or two for us. Follow Shamar on twitter @ShamarBailey.

Savant Young

Last on the show this week is a man stepping back into the Tachi Palace Fights cage looking for another big win. Savant Young is ready to throw some leather against Rob Emerson at TPF 12 “Second Coming.” The fight is scheduled to take place Friday March 9th in Lemoore, California. Savant is coming off a win in his last fight at TPF. We will talk to him about his early years in the sport where he fought a ton of big names and wasn’t even training full time. We will talk to him about what made him make the commitment, how the sport has changed in 14 years, his future in the sport and outside of the sport and much more. Follow Savant on twitter @SavantYoung.

Georgi Karakhanyan

We wrap things up this week with Georgi Karakhanyan who is set to defend his strap at TPF 12 against Micah Miller. Georgi has so much to talk about from his upcoming fight with Micah, his training camp, and the general fight questions. We also have plenty to talk about with his last fight and winning the belt, how life has changed since becoming the champ, and if having the belt has made him hungrier. If you didn’t know Georgi was also a beast on the soccer field, (He played Pro) so I wanna talk the comparison between the sports, and what he misses from his days kicking goals instead of heads. Trust me there is plenty more to talk with Georgi as this is one we won’t have enough time for. Tune in and follow Georgi on Twitter at @georgimma.
