The UFC has added two more bouts to the UFC on FOX 3 event that will take place on May 5th in East Rutherford, New Jersey. A lightweight bout between John Cholish and Danny Castillo has been verbally agreed upon by the fighters. Also, a welterweight bout between Pascal Krauss and John Hathaway has been verbally agreed upon to take place on the card.
John Cholish (8-1) is coming off a TKO win in his UFC debut over Mitch Clarke back at UFC 140. Cholish lost his first professional fight and has since reeled off eight straight wins while only going to a judges decision once during that stint. Cholish is from New Jersey and trains out of Team Renzo Gracie.
Danny Castillo (13-4) is coming off a split decision victory over Anthony Njokuani back at UFC 141. Castillo has won five of his last six bouts while finishing two of those opponents via TKO. Pascal Krauss (10-0) is coming off a win in his UFC debut while also earning fight of the night honors at UFC 122 as he took a unanimous decision win over Mark Scanlon. Krauss was originally supposed to face Hathaway at UFC 138, but had to withdraw from the bout due to a shoulder injury. It’ll be his first fight since November 2010.
