At the :50 second mark of round two, referee Michael Reid stepped in to save the fallen Thomas “The Wildman” Denny from the assault of forty year-old Pat Miletich at Adrenaline II Thursday night in Moline, Illionois.

Early in round one, Miletich landed a powerful left hook that stunned Denny and put the fight on the mat where Denny defended against the Croation Sensation’s ground and pound for the rest of the round. Denny came out aggressively striking in round two only to come in contact with the experience and boxing of a man who has trained more world champions than possibly anyone alive.

In the post-fight interview, Pat Miletich would neither confirm nor rule out another bout but is taking it one fight at a time. This was Pat’s first fight in over two years.

He did seem interested in the idea of a “super fight” and expressed interest in fighting someone like Winky Wright or Antonio Tarver from the boxing world. (Easy there Pat, let’s stick to the Thomas Denny’s and the like for now)

Miletich-trained, Ben Rothwell also picked up a win over Chris Guillen from a tap-out due to strikes in round one.
