On Tuesday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission revealed UFC welterweight, Karo Parisyan, tested positive for pain killers following his UFC 94 split decision victory against Dong Hyun Kim. The report stated that unacceptable levels of Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone and Oxymorphone were all found in Parisyan’s system.
Parisyan will most likely be called before the commission and could face both a fine and a suspension. NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer also indicated the potential for Parisyan’s win over Kim to be ruled a no contest. No hearing date has been set as of now.
