Tech Tuesday: Video Game Roundup

Fable anniversary edition holds a special place in my heart mostly because of the moniker “Chicken Chaser” and the villain Twin Blades. There is also the Fable Trilogy with the last two being mostly forgettable this might not do so well in terms of overall sales. Outlast and Farcry: The Wild Expedition will probably do well. Far Cry 3 is one of the best games in recent years so play it if you have not. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is going to do very well despite the fact that the Final Fantasy series has not changed much since ever. Make sure you check out out list below. Tech Tuesday: Apps leaking data to NSA

The Guardian has obtained top secret documents from Edward Snowden that show that both the NSA and GCHQ (its UK equivalent) have been developing the ability to siphon personal information from “leaky” smartphone apps such as Google Maps and Angry Birds. In one document, the agency lays out the “perfect scenario” of the type of info it can obtain when a photo taken with a smartphone is uploaded to a social media site.

Tech Tuesday: Google apologizes for Hitler gaff

Google Maps is the latest victim of user updating gone bad. Much like Wikipedia whose major contributions come from the average Joe types, Google maps is experiencing the same woes. Wikipedia has to change thousands of entries per week I am guessing of users trying to be funny, defacing a hated celebrity, attacking religious figures, and just generally rewriting history out of spite.
