It was a banner year for Ed Soares and company in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance that all culminated with their last event of 2013 Friday night just outside Denver. The main event featured two standouts battling for the flyweight title. Zach Makovsky was dominant in his performance and won every round against Matt Manzanares to capture the title that Sergio Pettis vacated.

The promotion has been cultivating some of the best talent outside of the UFC and has provided a launching pad for the next generation of stars.
