Not even an unprecedented earthquake could stop The MMA Outsider from not only recording a show, but also bringing you an exclusive interview with The Ultimate Fighter 14 participant Jimmie Rivera. Although the quake barely did any damage at all, a congressional resolution honoring our bravery is still in order.

He trains at Team Tiger Schulmann alongside the likes of former Bellator champ Lyman Good and UFC vet Nick Pace. He won the King of the Cage 135-pound title by defeating DREAM veteran Abel Cullum and talked with us about why he decided to compete on the show as a featherweight.

If you aren’t familiar with Rivera, you can also read this prior interview we did with him.

By the way, this is the second time Richard has had his name on the byline here but made me do the work. Feel free to send him hate mail at [email protected] or via Twitter @MMAOUTSIDER. It’s freeloaders like him that will destroy America.

And for those of you still using Firefox to surf the web, enjoy another listen of our show from July 27 since the site might not refresh. Keep listening to the show anyway. Please?!?!?
