LAS VEGAS — Tuff-N-Uff returns to the Orleans Hotel & Casino tonight for a big night of amateur mixed martial arts action.The event, which is streaming live online at GoFightLive.tv, has a total of 15 fights scheduled for the card.

As usual, many of the surrounding region’s fight teams will be represented, including Xtreme Couture, Wand Fight Team, Team Tompkins, Striking Unlimited, 10th Planet and many more.

The night’s main event will feature a Tuff-N-Uff 185-pound title fight between Team Throwdown’s Edmond Xhelili (4-1) and Jason Richey (3-1) of Arizona Muay Thai.

In addition, there will be a “Celebrity Match” for charity featuring 2010 MMA reporter of the year nominee Aaron Tru taking on radio personality Lee Honish. This will be both fighters’ MMA debut.

Honish may be best known for losing to Danny Bonaduce in a boxing match. Tru may be best known for getting choked unconscious on camera by Strikeforce 145-pound women’s champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos.

Tuff-N-UFF play-by-play (3-12-11)

(Title Fight – 145 lbs.) Taylor Stratford vs. Ashlee Evans-Smith

Round 1 – Smith comes out strong swinging and swinging and backs Smith against the cage, they clinch.  Separate and Stratford comes back with more punches, a leg kick. Smith fires back with a combo. Collar tie and knee from Stratford, leg kick. Smith walks into a left. Stratford lands a shot on the nose. They clinch. Stratford with underhooks with her back to the cage. One minute to go in the round. Smith with a couple right hands from the clinch. She backs Stratford to the cage, knees to the thighs. Stratford with a knee to the thigh. Round 2 – Stratford comes out swinging again. Smith shoots, Stratford sprawls, lands some knees from the clinch. They wrestle from the clinch, Stratford with some knees, Smith goes for a shoulder roll takedown and ends up getting her back taken. Stratford quickly sinks in the choke for the tapout. Taylord Stratford is the new Tuff-N-Uff women’s featherweight champion. It’s her second title fight in eight days and won them both.

Aaron “Hebrew Hammer” Tru vs. Lee Honish

Round 1 – They have a belt to present the winner. Left jab from Honish, Tru shoots, gets the takedown. Tru is on top moves to half guard. Tru moves him against the cage. Honish holding on and Tru landing shots to the body. Tru warned for hitting him in the back of the head. Tru with more punches to the ribs. Honish only holding on as the crowd boos. Honish wanting the stand up here obviously. Honish has one of Tru’s legs locked and continues to hold as we hear “stand them up” from the crowd. Tru got pushed off before the bell and he rolled a flip. Tru runs swings, misses and falls into the fence!  ProMMAnow.com scores the round 10-9 for Tru.

Round 2 – Leg kick from Tru. Body kick from Tru, two leg kicks and Honish walking him down. Two jabs from Honish. Tru swings for the fences and misses and falls to the ground. Honish hunts him down trying to land a big shot. Tru keeps landing leg kicks. Honish holds Tru’s neck and lands a few punches to the face. Three leg kicks from Tru and Honish walks right through them. Honish landing right jabs, about four or five. Tru landed several kicks but Honish seemed unaffected. Close round. Round 3 – Tru shoots immediately and Honish stuffs it and lands in full mount. Tru reverses and is on top, moves to side control. Honish holds onto his neck and Tru puts some knees in his ribs. Both guys are pretty tired at this point I’m sure. Ref stands them up. Tru shoots immediately and Honish stops it and holds onto his neck for a makeshift choke. Ref stands them up with ten seconds left. Tru misses with a Superman  punch and the bell sounds. ProMMAnow.com scores the round 10-9 for Tru and the fight 29-28 for Tru. They present Tru with the belt and he is unable to talk and says he is not feeling well. His handlers help him exit the cage.

Round 1 – Xhelili in red trunks, Richey in black. Xhelili with a couple leg kicks and lands a big right hand. Richey shoots, Xhelili defends well, clinched, turns Richey’s back to the cage. Xhelili goes for the trip takedown but Richey ends up on top, he stands over him and throws some punches. Xhelili grabs an ankle but eats a big punch. Richey inside his full guard now as Xhelili holds on. Richey catches an upkick to the groin. They exchange leg kicks. Xhelili misses with a big right, then lands one. Richey shoots and Xhelili defends it until the bell sounds. ProMMAnow.com scores it 10-9 for Richey. John Morgan scores it 10-9 for Richey.

Round 2 – Leg kick from Xhelili, then swings with several punches. Richey shoots and Xhelili looking for a kimura. Richey moves into side control, then to mount. Xhelili gives up his back, Richey slides off to the side and Xhelili ends up on top, he backs out to his feet and comes forward with several punches and lands one that stumbles Richey. Richey shoots, stuffed, he rolls on his back, shoots again, grabs a leg and Xhelili defending the takedown. Xhelili lands several punches near the end. ProMMAnow.com scores it 10-9 for Xhelili.

Round 3 – Leg kick from Xhelili, then lands a right. Richey with a leg kick and Xhelili with a leg kick in return. Xhelili catches a kick and Richey falls to the ground. The ref lets him up. Leg kick from Xhelili, then just misses with a few jabs. Richey shoots, Xhelili sprawls, stands up, kicks Richey’s legs as he sits on the ground. Ref lets Richey up. Body punch from Xhelili, leg kicks, Richey fires back with a right. Left hand from Xhelili and Richey shoots, stuffed. Xhelili shoots, it gets stuffed and the bell sounds.
