* HHH and Stephanie McMahon are running late due to issues with their flight and have put Kane in charge. Kane makes it known he and Seth Rollins will be facing each other in a Lumberjack Match tonight in the main event.
* Dean Ambrose opens the show and says he’s “looking for a fight”. Randy Orton’s music hits and The Viper comes out and says he heard backstage that he and Ambrose will be facing Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at Hell in a Cell. … New Day interrupts and says they should be in there talking about them, not the Wyatt Family. Kane comes over the Titantron and says the inmates are not running the asylum and he makes a match between New Day and Orton/Ambrose.
* New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E) vs. Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton — Ambrose is in the ring fighting with Big E and Orton gets shoved into Ambrose, this causes him to hesitate and Kofi rolls him up for the pin.
* Nikki Bella (with Alicia Fox, Brie Bella) vs. Naomi (with Sasha Banks, Tamina) — Brie causes a distraction ringside, though takes a hard slam from Sasha. But it works and this sets up a big right hand from Nikki that lays Naomi on the canvas, and then the Rack Attack for the finish.
* John Cena (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler – U.S. Championship open challenge / After several near pinfalls for Ziggler, Cena finally finishes him with an AA.
* Dudley Boyz vs. The Ascension — The Dudleyz finish The Ascension with a 3-D / Dudley Death Drop.
* Neville, Cesaro vs. Sheamus, King Barrett — Sheamus and Neville are in the ring when Neville gets thrown against the ropes. Barrett hits him with a Bullhammer from outside and this sets up the pin for Sheamus.
* Roman Reigns with a lengthy promo for his upcoming match with Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell. Wyatt comes out with Braun Strowman and Luke Harper to address him. After Reigns warns him what he’s going to do to him at Hell in a Cell, Bray sends Braun to take care of business and this sets up the match.
* Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman — Reigns lays Strowman out over the announce table with a Superman Punch and he is counted out. Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper join Strowman in the ring after the match and call Roman to come in. Roman acts like he might, but just punches Bray hard through the ropes and walks off.
* Ryback vs. Rusev (with Summer Rae) — Ryback gets the finish with a Shellshock. Summer goes to check on Rusev after the match, then addresses the TMZ story about Rusev and Lana getting engaged. Summer is furious about finding out online and not from Rusev himself. She calls him a “whipped little boy” and a “lying cheating bastard”. She then slaps him and walks off leaving him in the ring screaming in his native tongue.
* Kalisto (with Sin Cara) vs. Kevin Owens — Owens catches Kalisto coming off the ropes and finishes him with a Pop-up Power Bomb.
* Team NBC (Natalya, Becky Lynch, Charlotte) vs. Team Bella (Nikki, Brie, Alicia Fox) — Paige is ringside on guest commentary talking about her former teammates and Nattie taking her spot. Paige and Nattie get into a shoving match briefly. The distraction ultimately leads to Brie finishing Charlotte with a Missle Dropkick off the ropes.
* Corporate Kane informs Rollins he won’t be his opponent tonight after HHH shut that idea down, and he has to find a “suitable replacement”. Hmmm, could it be Demon Kane, Satan’s henchman? …. Yep.
* Lumberjack Match Main Event: Seth Rollins vs. Demon Kane (non-title match) — Kane goes outside the ring and gets knocked out by Big Show with a punch. The Lumberjacks throw him back in the ring but Rollins still can’t get the pin as Kane kicks out. … New Day pulls Kane out and stomps on him, this causes an all out brawl between all the lumberjacks. Kane survives and choke slams Stardust and Xavier Woods. Then a Tombstone Piledriver on Rollins for the finish. Kane defeats the WWE Heavyweight Champion but Rollins retains his title, for now. At Hell in a Cell it will be for the title and Kane’s title as Director of Operations.
