Miesha TateUFC officials have announced that they will return to Florida with the UFC on FOX 11 event that’s set to take place on April 19. There are two bouts announced for the card so far with tickets expected to go on sale on February 14.

A heavyweight bout between Travis Browne and Fabricio Werdum will take place on the card with the winner likely facing UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. Also, a women’s bantamweight fight between former title challenger Miesha Tate and former title challenger Liz Carmouche will also take place on the card.

Browne (16-1-1) is coming off the biggest win of his career with a first round TKO win over former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett at UFC 168. Browne has won three consecutive fights since suffering his lone defeat at the hands of Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in 2012.

Werdum (17-5-1) is coming off a submission win over MMA great Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in June 2013. Werdum has also won three consecutive fights since his last loss and will be eyeing a title shot with a win over Browne for sure.

Tate (13-5) is coming off a third round submission loss against Ronda Rousey in her last fight at UFC 168. Tate has lost consecutive fights, but has also won “Fight of the Night’ in both of those bouts. The former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion will look to right the ship with a win over Carmouche.

Carmouche (9-4) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Alexis Davis in November 2013. Carmouche has also dropped her last two bouts, including a first round submission loss to Ronda Rousey in her bid to become champion.
