UFC officials have announced a middleweight bout between two top ten fighters in Yushin Okami and Hector Lombard which will take place on the UFC on FUEL TV 8 card on March 3rd. The event will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.

The main event will feature a light heavyweight matchup between former PRIDE champion Wanderlei Silva and former WEC champion Brian Stann and will air on FUEL TV.

Okami (28-7) is coming off a dominant unanimous decision win over Alan Belcher at UFC 155 in December. It was his second consecutive win after losing back-to-back fights for the first time in his career. It was also his second win over Belcher who he previously defeated in his UFC debut in 2006.

Lombard (32-3-1, 1NC) is coming off a dominant TKO win over submission ace Rousimar Palhares which also took place in December. It was a great bounce back win for the former Bellator middleweight champion who suffered an upset loss against Tim Boetsch in his UFC debut in July.
