UFC officials announced two fights today that will complete the UFC on FUEL TV 5 event that’s set for September 29th in Nottingham, England, at the Capital FM Arena. Gunnar Nelson will take on Pascal Krauss in a welterweight matchup while Jimi Manuwa will take on Kyle Kingsbury in a middleweight matchup.
UFC on FUEL TV 5 will be headlined by a heavyweight fight between rising stars Stipe Miocic and Stefan Struve.
Gunnar Nelson (9-0-1) will be making his UFC debut on the UFC on FUEL TV 5 card. Nelson has competed primarily in England throughout his young career and will be looking to make a splash against UFC veteran Pascal Krauss. Krauss (10-1) is coming off is first professional loss against John Hathaway at the UFC on FOX 3 event. Krauss is (1-1) in the UFC with a unanimous decision win over Mark Scanlon.
Jimi Manuwa (11-0) will be making his UFC debut on the UFC on FUEL TV 5 card as well. Manuwa has competed primarily in England throughout his career and is the former UCMMA light heavyweight champion. He’ll be taking on UFC veteran Kyle Kingsbury (11-4, 1NC) who has lost back-to-back fights in the UFC. He was submitted by Glover Teixeira at UFC 146.
