Prior to that he scored a first round TKO over Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 133 last August. Those two victories were a solid way to rebound from his devastating loss against middleweight champ Anderson Silva in February 2011. Belfort is steadily making his way back into title contention, another big win against Belcher will definitely take him one step closer to a title shot.
