After the U.S. Greco-Roman teams claimed zero medals, it appeared as if it was going to be another tough FILA World Championships for the U.S. team. However, in freestyle, Jordan Burroughs captured a gold medal in the 74kg weight class and the team finished in third place behind Iran (2nd) and Russian (1st).
