Hello from North Carolina! This time for training took me to New Bern BJJ. I can say I like coming to New Bern for the crafty guard passing, I am very critical on my game and want to be able to flow smoother in my fights instead of trying to punch and pass.

While at New Bern BJJ I was able to meet up with two fighters that will be fighting in my hometown this Friday and asked to have me corner them. I really think these guys will do fine; out of the New Bern camp these are some of the best guys Jerry Moreno has that grace his mats.

My other training took me to my old reliable facility, Xtreme MMA in Jacksonville, N.C. While training here in Jacksonville a lot of the amateur kids were eager to pick my brain and see how my training out at All in MMA in Buena Park, Calif., paid off.

Let me say I opened up a few eyes. Even though I spent a month at All in MMA with Master Cha, I can say my stand up has came along way. In fact, I am really eager to get back and start working my stand up again.

This week is gonna be a sad week too, this is the week I head back out to Oklahoma City and go back to training full time in California.

One thing I have is a very supportive son who approves of me fighting simply because he knows that is how I buy him toys.

While on my travels back to Oklahoma I plan on stopping at a few facilities to train. I am excited to see how my game will come around these next few months.

I almost feel this is not fair for the other fighters that I will fight some day. I have always had to work, go to school, train half time and raise my son full time. This is a slow week for training but I’m eager to write about my travels next week.
