We love Game of Thrones alot although not as much as MMA admittedly. Still we love the show and HBO FINALLY released the season 8 trailer. We’ll shut up now. Check it out!
Twenty-six-year-old Russian kickboxer Akop Stepanyan (12-4) returns to the Bellator cage Thursday against Marlon Sandro in the quarterfinal round of the Season 8 featherweight tournament.
ProMMAnow.com reporter Daniel Theodore recently sat down with Stepanyan to talk about his background and accomplishments in martial arts and why becoming the best he can in MMA is his ultimate goal. Stepanyan also shared his thoughts on the match-up with Marlon Sandro (23-4) and how he feels about facing such a well-known and accomplished veteran.
Efrain Escudero is the 155 lbs. winner of Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter season 8 reality TV show. He defeated Phillipe Nover in the TUF 8 Finale last December to win a coveted six-figure contract with the UFC.
Escudero was originally scheduled to fight Jeremy Stephens back in April but had to pull out due to a rib injury. Now healed up, Escudero is ready to make his second Octagon appearance on Sept. 19, 2009 against the very technical Cole Miller who has finished his last two opponents.
PRO MMA (promma.info) spoke with the 23-year-old undefeated 11-0 Mexican lightweight on Tuesday about his upcoming bout with Miller, how he thinks he matches up with Magrino, and how he’s feeling after the rib injury. He also told us “his hips don’t lie” but we weren’t sure what that meant.

The full fight card for The Ultimate Fighter: Team Mir vs. Team Nogueira Finale – season 8 has been set for December 13 and will air live from The Pearl in Las Vegas on SPIKE TV at 9pm ET.
Following Wednesday’s two semi-final episodes, the lightweight and light heavyweight TUF finalists will battle it out and the winners will receive the highly coveted UFC six-figure contracts.
In the lightweight division, Phillipe Nover will be taking on Efrain Escudero and in the light heavyweight finale, the wrestler Ryan Bader will battle the jiu-jitsu phenom, Vinicius “Vinny” Magalhaes.
Dana goes to the guys in the house and “asks” their opinion if Junie should be allowed to stay in the house after throwing a glass at Shane Primm and taking some swings at him.
What is interesting about the scene is that they didn’t even ask or show Shane Primm’s opinion if Junie should stay and he’s the one Junie exploded on.
Dana knows that Junie has caused controversy and has helped the ratings. He admits as such to Junie, “You’re a great f*cking reality star cause you’re a f*ck up” or something to that effect.
