Ryan Hall is a TUF winner and next in line to face MMA legend “The Prodigy” BJ Penn. BJ is 0-5 in his last run so the decision to return took everyone by surprise. Hall has been out of action since December of 2016 and was out for a year before that bout. Maybe that’s why he was paired up against Penn? Ring rust? Whatever the reason the fight goes down at UFC 232 in December. Check out MMAFighting’s interview with Hall where he opens up about his return and everything in between.

Although the UFC’s live stream video player failed once again, our friends at the FedEX Forum in Memphis tweeted us the weigh-in results. There were chants in the audience of “Fix the scales!” as most of the fighters seemed to be coming in at least 1⁄2-1lb. over weight on their first attempt.
As expected, the face-off between main event fighters B.J. Penn and Diego Sanchez was intense. Penn, who is the UFC light heavyweight champion, will be looking to defend his title against what many consider his toughest lightweight opponent to date.
Sanchez, the challenger, was asked to say a few words after the two weighed in and stared each other in the eyes. Sanches simply stated, “Destiny baby! One word. Destiny!”
