Autism fundraiser Oct. 10 at Grapplers Quest in Long Beach, Calif.

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Grapplers Quest, “The World’s Largest Grappling Competition,” is hosting The 2009 West Coast Submission Grappling and Jiu Jitsu Championships on Saturday, October 10, at California State University-Long Beach’s Pyramid.

Competition starts at 10:00 AM and runs all day. Discount tickets and fighter registration for the October 10th event are available at:

Grapplers Quest helps raise funds for Autism Awareness, Education and Treatments at each competition nationwide. One dollar from each ticket sold and competitor is donated to help support alternative Autism Biomedical Treatments and goes towards a direct donation to Autism Speaks, to commemorating the grappling community’s support.

Long Beach Fight Night returns on Oct. 19

Their first show was a huge success and now Long Beach Fight Night is back for round two. Come and experience the competitive world of full contact Mixed Martial Arts at Southern California’s premier evening of action packed entertainment.

Fully sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission, combatants clash toe 2 toe matching skill, heart, and guts to see who will be left standing victorious. Many local area fighters will compete to stake their claim as one of “Long Beach Fight Night’s Toughest.”
