Fight changes as a result of UFC 151 being cancelled

The UFC 151 PPV event that was scheduled for September 1st has caused a huge tidal wave of changes going forward in regards to fights being moved to other events. The UFC has already announced several of them via the official UFC Twitter account and I’m sure there’s more to come. So below you’ll find a complete list of the changes thus far and this post will be updated as information comes in.

Jay Hieron on UFC 151: ‘I couldn’t ask for a better comeback fight’

MMA veteran Jay Hieron has seen it all in his professional MMA career which started in 2003. He made his UFC debut in his fifth professional fight against Georges St. Pierre, was released from the UFC and rattled off three consecutive victories to be invited back. He’ll take on Jake Ellenberger at UFC 151.

UFC 151: Jones vs. Henderson extended video preview

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will put his title on the line against one of the all time MMA greats in former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson at UFC 151. The event is set to take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 1st. Also on the card, welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger will face MMA veteran Jay Hieron in the co-main event.
