Everything went smooth as all fighters made weight ahead of tomorrow night’s WSOF 7 event that takes place att Vancouver’s PNE Agrodome. All eight main card fighters are ready to go as both Georgi Karakhanyan and Lance Palmer were under the 145 pound weight limit for their featherweight title fight.
World Series of Fighting hosted a media conference call on Tuesday with “World Series of Fighting 7: Karakhanyan vs. Palmer” headliners Georgi Karakhanyan (22-3-1) and Lance Palmer (7-0), as well as main-card competitors Elvis Mutapcic (13-2), Jesse Taylor (26-9), Nick Newell (10-0) and Sabah Fadai (7-2). Joining the fighters on the call was WSOF President Ray Sefo.
World Series of Fighting’s first-ever four-man tournament kicks off Sept. 14 with a pair of middleweight matchups, as David Branch (12-3) meets Danillo “Indio” Villefort (14-4) and Elvis “The King” Mutapcic (13-2) faces Jesse “JT Money” Taylor (26-9) at “World Series of Fighting 5: Johnson vs. Kyle.”
All fighters for “MFC 36: Reality Check” have weighed in and are on point for their bouts which will take place Friday night at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.
Graham “Cracker” Spencer weighed in at 154.2 pounds, while his opponent “The Afrikan Assassin” Mukai Maromo weighed in at 154.4 pounds. They will meet in the MFC 36 main event for the Maximum Fighting Championship Lightweight Title.
