The event saw Poppies Martinez defeat Chris Culley via first round submission for the Tachi Featherweight Title in the main event. In the co-headliner Joe Soto claimed the vacant Tachi Bantamweight Title with a third round TKO over Jeremiah Labiano. Enjoy the pics.

Strikeforce Challenger Series weigh-in results, photos, & press conference highlights

PRO MMA (promma.info) has received the weigh-in results from the “STRIKEFORCE CHALLENGER SERIES” event taking place Friday May 15th at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California and airing live on SHOWTIME at 11:00 PM ET/PT (delayed on West Coast). 

Mike Aina will face Billy Evangelista in the main event. Sarah Kaufman has raised the stakes and level of competition by stepping in for Kim “Sugar Free” Couture to take on Miesha Tate in the lone female bout. Carl Seumanutafa looks to get back on the winning track after losing two straight as he takes on “Big” Lavar Johnson in the lone heavyweight bout.
