Australian MMA fighter and K-1 veteran Ian James “Goshu Hurricane” Schaffa will be coming to Clarksville, Tenn. in early 2010 to train at the SSF Submission Academy according to Owner/Trainer Ron Dayley.
Schaffa is a very well-rounded fighter who competes at the professional level in MMA (8-6-1), Kickboxing (14-3) and Boxing (8-4-2). Schaffa is a member of Team Schaffa and the Poseidon Gym and fights out of Gold Coast, Australia. He has fought for World Victory Road, Shooto, and K-1 promotions.
This Saturday, June 13, 2009, UFC veteran Spencer “The King” Fisher (22-4) will face MMA legend Caol Uno (25-11-4) as the UFC makes mixed martial arts history by holding their first ever event in Germany with “UFC 99: The Comeback.”
