Resurrection Fighting Alliance held their twelfth event (RFA 12) this past Friday night in Los Angeles. RFA 12 aired live on AXStv and saw Brian Ortega win the RFA featherweight championship in the main event with a split decision victory over Keoni Koch. Pedro Munhoz retained his bantamweight title with a first round submission over Billy Daniels in the co-headliner. Check out our exclusive photo gallery of the event.

In case you missed it last night, PMN Radio returned with four great guests and just some minor bumps in the road. From Resurrection Fighting Alliance we welcomed in featherweight contender Brian “TCity” Ortega and Kevin Casey. The Maximum Fighting Championship boss returned to the program and he was candid and open about what is going on with his company. In the first televised RFA women’s bout, Justine Kish draws Randa Markos Thomas for RFA 12

When Resurrection Fighting Alliance returns to kick off 2014 it will do so by airing the first televised female bout between strawweights Justine Kish and Randa Markos Thomas. This fight will take place at RFA 12 that goes down January 24th and will air live on AXS TV.

Resurrection Fighting Alliance returns with ‘Ortega vs. Koch’ January 24th

Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) president Ed Soares announced today that the promotion’s first event of 2014 will be headlined by a featherweight title fight in his hometown of Los Angeles. RFA 12 – Ortega vs. Koch will feature two undefeated fighters vying for gold as Brian “T-City” Ortega (7-0) faces Keoni “Evil Genius” Koch (5-0) at the historic Shrine Auditorium in the heart of Los Angeles, California. The entire main card will be televised live and nationwide on AXS TV at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.

RFA 9 quick results, Munhoz takes bantamweight title

The RFA 9 event took place on Friday night in Los Angeles at the StubHub Center while airing LIVE on AXS TV. The main event saw Pedro Munhoz (9-0) defeat long time MMA veteran Jeff Curran (34-16-1) to win the vacant RFA bantamweight title via split decision. Curran officially retired from MMA following the loss to Munhoz.
