DREAM 10 betting odds

BetUS.com has the fight lines for DREAM 10 which takes place Mon., July 20, 2009 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event will air live on HDNet beginning at 3:00 AM ET/12:00 AM PT.

The odds-makers seem to have overlooked the fact that Jesse Taylor (12-3) is on a six fight win streak. Yes, Dong Sik Yoon’s (4-6) record is a bit misleading due to the level of talent he has faced, but the fact remains, Jesse Taylor is a tough strong kid with a lot of momentum.

Marius Zaromskis (9-2) is a huge underdog against the ultra-experienced Hayato “Mach” Sakurai (35-8-2). However, if Zaromskis could pull it off, anyone betting on him would pad their wallet nicely. Here are the comlete betting odds for DREAM 10:

You can place your bets on Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko now

Sportsbook.com has actually released odds in anticipation of a future match-up between UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and WAMMA Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emelianenko. The odds have Lesnar as the under dog: Brock Lesnar +190 vs. Fedor Emelianenko -240

Even though Fedor is signed to a contract with Affliction Entertainment, UFC President Dana White made a comment at the UFC 100 post-fight press conference that the UFC would eventually sign Fedor and put together the Lesnar vs. Emelianenko match-up.

“Eventually, Fedor’s going to be here. I want Fedor. I want him to come to the UFC.,” White stated. “This guy (Brock Lesnar) just won the heavyweight title, and we’ll end up getting that deal done. And then we’ll do Brock vs. Fedor, and it’ll be a huge fight,” he added.

“TUF 9 Finale” betting odds (with prop bets)

As they do for every UFC card and every other major MMA event, BetUS.com has all the fight lines for tonight’s “TUF 9 Finale.” What makes this particular card interesting, is BetUS is also providing a whole hand full of prop bets on the main event, Clay Guida vs. Diego Sanchez. Let’s jump right in…

Diego Sanchez -300 vs. Clay Guida +220

Sanchez is looked at as the favorite just as most of us here at PRO MMA (promma.info) agreed on in our staff picks. Of course it is possible Guida could pull off a decision but it is highly unlikely given Sanchez’s wrestling, stand up skills, focus, and the fact he has just come down to lightweight recently from spending most of his career at welterweight.

“UFC 99: The Comeback” betting odds

UFC 99: THE COMEBACK takes place this coming Saturday, June 13, at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany. Headlining the card will be former UFC Middleweight Champion Rich Franklin taking on former Pride Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva.

According to the betting odds at BetUS.com Franklin is considered the favorite. It will be Silva’s aggressive “axe-murderer-style” striking against the technical striking and footwork of Franklin. Franklin will have the size and reach advantage and with the way Silva has looked recently, it is difficult to imagine how he could win the fight. It is probably best to leave this one alone.

Rich Franklin -155 vs. Wanderlei Silva +115
Spencer Fisher -225 vs. Caol Uno +175
Marcus Davis -225 vs. Dan Hardy +175
Mike Swick -225 vs. Ben Saunders +175
Terry Etim -350 vs. Justin Buchholz +225
Paul Taylor -500 vs. Peter Sobotta +300
Denis Stojnic -110 vs. Stefan Struve -130
Paul Kelly -550 vs. Rolando Delgado +325
Mirko Filipovic -450 vs. Mostapha Al Turk +275

Don’t sleep on Rogers – “Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields” betting odds

BetUS.com has provided the fight lines with the potential to win some decent money on Saturday’s Strikeforce card. The best line has to be with the Arlovski vs. Rogers fight. Arlovski is the more technical boxer but Rogers has a ton more power; not to mention his weight advantage and the situation with Arlovski’s less than brick jaw.

With the way the lines look on this card, the only other fight worth touching would be Diaz vs. Smith. BetUS.com is putting Diaz as the heavy favorite for good reason. Smith will offer nothing for Diaz he has not been faced with before. However, if you have some faith in Smith and the money to spare, it may be worth a small wager.

Robbie Lawler -125 vs Jake Shields -105
Andrei Arlovski -500 vs Brett Rogers +300
Nick Diaz -400 vs Scott Smith +250
Phil Baroni -110 vs Joe Riggs -120
Kevin Randleman -105 vs Mike Whitehead -125
