Bellator 103 results: ‘Pitbull’ and Wilcox advance to featherweight finals

The Bellator 103 event took place on Friday night at the Kansas Star Arena and aired live on Spike TV. The event was headlined by a the Season 9 Featherweight Tournament Semifinals Patricio Freire and Fabricio Guerreiro with Freire taking the unanimous decision to advance to the finals. Justin Wilcox used his wrestling to stifle Joe Taimanglo to win a unanimous decision, and David Rickels defeated J.J. Ambrose via third round TKO in front of his hometown crowd.

Bellator 103 – Rosa vs Zayats breakdown

During the main card of the Bellator 103 fight card in Kansas we are going to see a war between two of Bellator’s best Light Heavyweights when Aaron Rosa takes on Mikhail Zayats. Rosa has fought at the highest level of the sports in both Strikeforce and the UFC having taken victories in both. Zayats on the other hand was the Runner-Up to the Season 8 Light Heavyweight tournament only losing to Emmanuel Newton in his Bellator career. Bellator is back with another Friday full of fightsand this time they take place in the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas. David “The Caveman” Rickels takes on submission specialist J.J. Bjorn Rebney and company are set to go this Friday at the Kansas Star Casino for Bellator 103. The featherweights get their turn at highlighting the card with two semifinal fights to cap off the event. Justin Wilcox (12-5) will face Joe Taimanglo (19-4) in one match up as Fabricio Guerreiro (18-1) takes on the always tough Patricio Pitbull (19-2).
